These one day workshops use family constellations as developed by Bert Hellinger, as a way of working systemically with issues that arise within families. Through this work we can learn how our actions and their consequences affect our children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, just as we are affected by our actions of our parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. From his many years of involvement in and observation of the constellation process in family systems, Hellinger came to the understanding that each family system has a conscience, striving to restore what he terms" The orders of Love" within the system.
The Main Principles defining the orders of love are:
Everyone has an equal right to belong in their family system. When someone has been excluded the consequences can be felt by individuals in subsequent generations, without them having any awareness of why they feel as they do.
There is a hierarchy in terms of place in the system. Parents come first, and give, while children receive and stand in accordance with their birth order. When a child takes on the role of parent towards the parentthe order is disturbed.
Each person within the system carries their own fate. Out of blind love a child may unconsciously try to carry the fate of another.
In these workshops we use constellations to facilitate a looking with a new lens, uncovering a hidden dynamic which allows for the possibility of restroration of the order, and the acknowledgement of what is.
"When we agree to everything that is within our family, our parents, our siblings, our ancestors, our partular fate, then we are at peace. When nothing is opposed to anything then we have peace at heart. "-
